Please include, where you can:

  • the email address of your Stomra account;
  • what you did, what you expected and what happened instead;
  • the project's name and the view or sheet you were in;
  • the time it happened, with your time zone;
  • your browser and operating system;
  • a screenshot, and any error message word for word;
  • for the connector: which assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another), the tool it called if you can see it, and the reply it got;
  • the reference of a problem you have already reported in the app (eight characters).

Do not send passwords, sign-in links or access tokens. We will never ask for them.

2. Report a problem from the app

The quickest way is in Stomra itself: Help ▸ Report a problem. The report carries your description, the app's state, a picture of the view and a copy of the project, so we can see what you saw. You can leave the picture or the project out. You get a reference, our questions arrive as notifications, and you can answer them in the app.

An assistant connected to Stomra can send the same report for you (the stomra_report_problem tool); the report says which assistant sent it.

3. The Stomra connector

The Stomra connector lets an AI assistant work in Stomra as you: read the model, add and change elements, set up views and sheets, write reports and export PDF, IFC and DXF. It works in your own open Stomra tab, so you see every change and can undo it there. With no tab open it can read a project as it was last saved, and change nothing.

Sign-in
OAuth 2.1: you sign in with your Stomra account and press Allow.
You need
A Stomra account. For the assistant to change anything, draw a picture or make a file: Stomra open and signed in in a browser tab (app.stomra.com) while it works.

Add it, once

  1. In Claude: Customize → Connectors, press + and choose Add custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan an owner adds it, under Organization settings → Connectors.
  2. In ChatGPT (on the web, with a paid plan): Settings → Security and login, switch on Developer mode. Then in Plugins press + and create an app.
  3. Name it Stomra, give it the address https://app.stomra.com/mcp and add it. Then press Connect, sign in with your Stomra account and press Allow.
  4. In a chat, switch Stomra on from the + menu (Claude: Connectors; ChatGPT: Developer mode) and keep Stomra open in a browser tab while the assistant works.

An assistant that works inside your browser (for example Claude in Chrome) can also use Stomra's tools directly in your signed-in tab, with nothing to add.

How it works

  • The assistant starts with stomra_status (who it is signed in as and which tabs are open), reads the guide with stomra_guide, and the project with stomra_project_summary before it changes anything.
  • With one Stomra tab open, the assistant works there. With several, it asks you which one, or you name the project; it never picks a tab by itself. Each conversation keeps its own choice.
  • Every change is checked like your own edits and goes into the project's history: Undo in Stomra takes it back.
  • Large exports can run in the background; the assistant checks on them and gets a link to the file.

4. Connector troubleshooting

"No Stomra tab is open"
Open app.stomra.com, signed in with the same account you allowed in the assistant, keep the tab open, and ask again.
Several tabs
Tell the assistant which project to work in, or close the tabs you don't need.
Asked to sign in again
The assistant's access was removed or has expired. Press Connect in the assistant's connector settings and sign in again.
"reload_required"
Stomra was updated while your tab was open. Let the assistant reload it (it saves first), or reload the tab yourself, then try again.
A call timed out
The outcome is unknown. Look in Stomra or let the assistant read the model again before it retries.

5. Disconnect an assistant

  • Close your Stomra tab: the assistant can no longer act in Stomra.
  • In the assistant: disconnect or remove Stomra in its connector settings.
  • In Stomra: app.stomra.com/admin → Account security → AI assistants with access → Remove.

6. Privacy, security and your data

What the connector processes, what it keeps and for how long is in the Privacy Policy, section 3. The terms for using Stomra, including through assistants, are in the Terms of Service. To report a security issue, email erik@goverde.se with "Stomra security" in the subject.
