Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Karpa Gada AB for using Stomra: the app at app.stomra.com, the client portal at portal.stomra.com and the Stomra connector for AI assistants.

In force from 20 October 2026.

In short. Your work is yours and you can take it with you. Stomra is a tool for people who know building: it draws and counts what you model, and it does not check your design. Stomra has no AI of its own. If you let your own assistant work in it, the assistant acts as you and what it does is yours to check. A new account's first day is free; after that Stomra is paid by the day or by the month, and what you have made stays yours to open and export whether you pay or not.

1. The agreement

1.1 Stomra is provided by Karpa Gada AB, reg. no. 559010-3858, Sweden ("we"). "You" are the person who uses Stomra and, when you use it in your work, the firm you work for.

1.2 You accept these terms when you create an account, sign in or otherwise use Stomra. If you use it for a firm, you accept them for the firm and confirm that you may do so. If you do not accept them, do not use Stomra.

1.3 Stomra is made for professional use. These terms are written for firms and people in business, not for consumers.

1.4 A client who opens a link to the client portal without an account may look at what was shared and leave markups and comments there. Sections 6, 10, 13 and 16 apply to that use.

2. What Stomra is

2.1 Stomra is a web app for modelling building structures and producing what comes from the model: plans, sections, sheets, schedules, quantities, reports and exports such as PDF, IFC and DXF. What it does at any time is what the app itself and its release notes show.

2.2 Stomra is a modelling and drawing tool. It is not a structural analysis, it does not check a design against a code, and it does not replace the judgement of a qualified engineer (section 8).

2.3 Stomra hosts no AI. It can be driven by an AI assistant that you choose and connect yourself (section 7).

3. Paying for Stomra

3.1 Stomra is sold to businesses and to people buying for their work. The plans and their prices are on stomra.com/pricing: a day pass, 49 € for 24 hours for one person; a seat, 490 € a month for each person with a seat in an organisation; and Enterprise, by agreement. Prices are without VAT. VAT is added as the law says, and a business in another EU country with a valid VAT number is invoiced without Swedish VAT (reverse charge).

3.2 A new account's first 24 hours are free, from when you choose to start them once Stomra is open to all. They are given once for each person and start when a card is saved in Stripe's checkout; nothing is charged to that card, now or later, and one card starts one free day. For every three people who make an account through your own invitation link, you get one more day pass free; we may end this offer, but what you have earned stays yours.

3.3 You pay through Stripe, which handles your card; we never see its number. A day pass begins when the payment is confirmed and ends 24 hours later. One bought while another runs begins when that one ends. A day pass that has begun is not refunded.

3.4 A subscription is paid a month at a time, in advance, for the number of seats you choose, and never fewer than the members of your organisation. Seats you add are there at once and the rest of the month is charged at once. Seats you take away, and a subscription you stop, last to the end of the month you have paid for; part months are not refunded. You change the seats, the card and the invoice details, and stop the subscription, yourself in Stomra.

3.5 If a payment for a subscription fails, your organisation's projects can be opened, read and exported but not changed until it is paid. Stripe tries the card again and we tell the organisation's owner. Nothing is deleted.

3.6 We may change prices. A new price for a subscription takes effect from a month that begins at least 30 days after we have told you; a day pass costs what was shown when you bought it.

3.7 Accounts that took part in the closed test before Stomra opened keep it free for as long as we tell them, and we tell them at least 30 days before that ends.

4. Your account and your firm

4.1 Your account is yours alone. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

4.2 A firm's administrators decide who belongs to the firm and what each may do. The firm answers for the people it lets in, and for what they do in Stomra.

4.3 When you invite someone to a project or send a client a link, you decide what they may see. Make sure you have the right to show it to them.

5. Your work is yours

5.1 Everything you make or upload in Stomra (models, drawings, sheets, reports, files, your firm's handbook) and everything Stomra produces from it is yours. We claim no right in it.

5.2 You give us the right to store it, process it and show it to the people you share it with, for the one purpose of running Stomra for you.

5.3 You can export your work at any time, as PDF, IFC and DXF and as the project's own model file.

5.4 We do not use your work to train AI models, and we do not sell it or show it to others. We may use statistics that identify neither you nor your projects (how many projects, which tools are used) to improve Stomra.

6. Stomra is ours

6.1 The app, its design, its code and its documentation belong to Karpa Gada AB. You get a right to use Stomra while this agreement lasts, for yourself and your firm. That right cannot be passed on.

6.2 You may not:

  • resell, rent out or sublicense Stomra;
  • copy it, or take it apart to get at its code, except where the law gives you that right;
  • get round its limits or its security, or disturb it for others;
  • use it to build a product that competes with it.

6.3 We are free to use ideas and suggestions you send us about Stomra, without owing you anything for them.

7. Your own AI assistant

7.1 You may let an AI assistant from another company (for example Claude or ChatGPT) work in Stomra as you, through the Stomra connector or in your own signed-in browser tab. You allow each assistant yourself, and you can remove its access at any time, in the assistant or in Stomra.

7.2 An assistant acts with your rights and no more. What it does in Stomra counts as done by you, and these terms apply to it as to you. Its changes are saved like your own and can be undone.

7.3 What Stomra answers an assistant (parts of the model, drawings, pictures, files) goes to that assistant's provider, because you asked for it. The provider handles it under its own terms. We do not answer for the assistant, its provider, whether it is available or what it does with what it receives.

7.4 We do not promise that an assistant understands Stomra or uses it rightly. Section 8 applies to everything it makes or changes.

7.5 We may change the connector and its tools, and limit how much an assistant may call them, to keep Stomra working for everyone.

8. You check what goes out

8.1 Stomra draws and counts what is modelled. It does not know whether a beam holds, a wall stands or a quantity is the one you meant. Nobody at Stomra looks at your drawings before you use them.

8.2 You are responsible for having everything that leaves Stomra (drawings, quantities, schedules, reports, exported models, and anything an assistant made) checked by someone qualified before it is used for design, pricing, ordering or building.

8.3 We give no warranty that what Stomra produces is correct, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

9. What we do

We undertake to:

  • run Stomra with care, and mend faults we learn of as fast as we reasonably can;
  • keep your work safe and handle personal data as section 11 and the Privacy Policy say;
  • answer questions by email (stomra.com/support);
  • tell you at least 30 days ahead before we take away something you rely on, where we can.

We promise no particular availability or answering time beyond what is written here or agreed with you for Enterprise.

10. What you do

You undertake to:

  • use Stomra within the law and within these terms;
  • put into it only what you have the right to put there;
  • not use it to harm others, to spread malicious code or to send unwanted mail;
  • see that the people in your firm, and the assistants you connect, keep to these terms too.

11. Personal data in your projects

11.1 Our own handling of personal data (your account, for example) is described in the Privacy Policy. This section is about personal data that you put into your projects: names in a title block, a signature, a contact in a report. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and this section is our data processing agreement.

11.2 What and why. We process that data to store your projects, show them to those you share them with and produce drawings and files from them, for as long as you keep it in Stomra. It can concern your staff, your clients and others named in your projects.

11.3 Your instructions. We process it only on your instructions. These terms, and what you and those you allow do in Stomra, are those instructions; an instruction given through an assistant is yours. If a law makes us process it otherwise, we tell you first where the law allows.

11.4 Security and secrecy. We protect the data as the Privacy Policy describes (section 6), and those who can reach it with us are bound to keep it to themselves.

11.5 Sub-processors. You allow us to use the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy (section 4). We bind each of them to the same duties and answer for them. We tell you at least 30 days before we add or replace one; if you object and we cannot agree, you may end the agreement. The provider of an assistant that you connect is not our sub-processor.

11.6 Outside the EU/EEA. The data is stored in Sweden. Where a sub-processor handles it outside the EU/EEA, it is under the safeguards named in the Privacy Policy (section 5).

11.7 Help. We help you, as far as we reasonably can, to answer people who use their rights, and to meet your own duties on security, breaches and impact assessments.

11.8 If something goes wrong. We tell you without undue delay, and within 48 hours of learning of it, if personal data in your projects has been lost, changed or seen by someone who should not: what happened, what it concerns, what it may lead to and what we are doing about it.

11.9 At the end. When the agreement ends we delete the data, after you have had time to export it (section 14), unless a law makes us keep it.

11.10 Showing that we keep to this. On request we give you what you need to see that this section is followed, and we let you or an auditor bound to secrecy check it, at most once a year and at a time we agree on.

12. Confidentiality

What one of us learns about the other that is plainly meant to stay private (your projects, above all) is used only for this agreement and shown to no one else, during the agreement and for three years after. This does not cover what is public, what was known already, or what a law or a court makes one of us disclose. What you choose to send to an assistant is disclosed by you.

13. Liability

13.1 We answer for harm we cause you through negligence, up to the fees you paid us for Stomra in the twelve months before the harm arose, or SEK 10,000 if that is more.

13.2 We do not answer for indirect loss, such as lost profit, lost production, lost business or claims from others, nor for what follows from using what Stomra produced without the check in section 8.

13.3 These limits do not apply to harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence.

13.4 Neither of us answers for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as war, natural disaster, a wide failure of the internet or of a provider we depend on, or an attack by someone else, for as long as it lasts.

14. Ending

14.1 You may stop using Stomra at any time. Write to us to have your account, or your firm's, closed.

14.2 We may suspend or end your use at once if you seriously break these terms or the law in Stomra, and otherwise as section 3.2 says.

14.3 When the agreement ends you can, for 30 days, still open your projects to export them, unless it ended because of a serious breach. After that we delete your projects and files within a further 30 days, except what a law makes us keep.

14.4 Sections 5, 6, 8, 12, 13 and 16 go on applying after the end.

15. Changes

15.1 Stomra changes all the time: features come, change and sometimes go. That is part of what you get.

15.2 We may change these terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect, unless a law or a matter of security requires it sooner. If you go on using Stomra after that day, you have accepted the change. If you do not accept it, stop using Stomra and export your work.

15.3 We may pass this agreement on to another company that takes over Stomra. You may pass it on only with our written consent.

15.4 These terms are the whole agreement between us about Stomra. An agreement that we both sign for your firm in particular goes before them.

16. Law and disputes

Swedish law applies to this agreement. A dispute that we cannot settle between us is settled by the Swedish courts, with Halmstad District Court (Halmstads tingsrätt) as the first instance.
